Mails...

I remember when i was young, i used to have pen pals. I would hassle my parent to buy me nice letter pad and a good ball point pen. Sitting down patiently on my desk for hours, writting and amending the letters. And yes, i might have to rewrite the whole letter if there's a mistake or correction. Then i would slowly seal it up in an envelope and finally tongue it with a stamp of contentment. With a smile on the face, i would rush on my bike and post it in a red letter collection box, with hopes.

Then i would wait in much anticipation. Wait and wait, cos it usually takes atleast a week for a reply. The joy of receiving a mail is beyond words, so pure, so naive...

As the years pass, now i hate to check my mail box cos its only BILLS...

And i can't even remember when was the last time i sit down and write, with a ball point and a nice fragrant letter pad. Yes, things have changed significantly. Now i only sit in front of PC and type, with the shortest words possible!

I miss the process, the anticipation, the joy and the slowness of things!

I guess i have to admit, age has catched up and i'm old now!
